Steve The Dream, long a favorite at Jockey's Ridge Crossing and throughout the Outer Banks, died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 24th from a surfing accident. He was 62, but was always a kid at heart.

A truly gifted performer, Steve wowed vacationers who visited Jockey's Ridge Crossing, some every summer, and marveled at his antics enthralling kids of any age. One of his favorite songs was the theme song from Sponge Bob Square Pants.
